1 Only classes that have a section number that includes a “w” (for example FIN 6301 Ow1) are assessed this fee. These classes have been designed and produced as an online course, which is very different from the courses that you will take asynchronously this fall in other course delivery modes (traditional or face-to-face, hybrid, hy-flex or flexible and remote). JSOM’s online classes (sections with “w”) have taken multiple semesters for faculty to develop and have been produced using instructional designers, video editors, other technologies and often a filming studio. In the traditional or face-to-face, hybrid, hy-flex or flexible and remote modes, the faculty are delivering these courses live (and providing recordings for asynchronous viewing) as they would be taught in a classroom. In these four modes, no additional fees are assessed.
Please check the Dining Services and Housing Office websites for the meal plan and housing unit rates.
